Sword & Shield arrived in early 2020 as Pokémon TCG's first modern era expansion, revitalizing the hobby after years of relative quiet. The set introduced Full Art cards as a premium chase element—beautiful, full-bleed illustrations that replaced traditional borders. These became instantly iconic and remain the blueprint for high-end collecting today. Sword & Shield's accessibility and gorgeous design sparked the trading card renaissance that defined the early 2020s. Morpeko VMAX appears here in full art form, capturing the adorable Galarian mascot in dynamic illustration. As a sought-after Full Art from this landmark set, it represents exactly what made Sword & Shield special—combining beloved characters with stunning borderless artwork that collectors still actively pursue.
