Shining Fates arrived in early 2021 as a celebratory set honoring the Galar region introduced in Pokémon Sword and Shield. The set became legendary among collectors for its stunning full-art trainer cards and chase pulls, revitalizing the hobby during a pivotal moment when Pokémon TCG demand had reached historic levels. Shining Fates remains one of the most sought-after modern releases, defined by its beautiful illustration style and limited availability that kept product scarce. Piers is a Dark-type specialist and gym leader from Galar, depicted here with his characteristic moody presence and gothic aesthetic. His full-art treatment captures the dramatic atmosphere that made him a fan favorite, making this card a natural draw for collectors who appreciate both compelling character design and the set's exceptional artistic direction.
