Paldean Fates arrived in late 2024 as a special set celebrating the Scarlet and Violet era of Pokémon TCG. This collection bridged two generations with a focus on stunning visual presentations, particularly the Shiny Pokémon cards that became the era's defining feature. The set resonated with collectors seeking both nostalgia and contemporary appeal during a period of renewed trading card enthusiasm. Mew ex as a Shiny Ultra Rare represents everything this set championed—a legendary Pokémon rendered in striking alternate coloration with premium presentation. Mew's iconic status in the Pokémon universe, combined with the rarity and visual impact of this particular illustration, makes it one of the set's most sought cards by collectors building comprehensive collections or chasing this generation's most memorable chase cards.
