Shiny Treasure ex represents a landmark release in the Japanese Pokémon TCG, celebrating full-art and alternate-illustration treatments that have become central to modern collecting. Released in 2023, this set exemplifies the hobby's contemporary focus on visual spectacle and rarity, where shiny variants and special rarities drive collector enthusiasm. The set's success underscores how Japanese releases often push design boundaries ahead of their English counterparts. Nacli, a newly introduced salt Pokémon, appears here in its shiny variant form—a delightful shift in coloration that catches the eye. The shiny rare designation makes this card particularly sought after among collectors who value these alternate treatments as premium pulls from booster boxes, offering a fresh take on a modern Pokédex entry.
