Shining Fates arrived in early 2021 as a special expansion that revitalized interest in Sword & Shield-era collecting. Released during peak pandemic demand, the set introduced full-art cards and shiny variants that captured collectors' imaginations with vibrant, contemporary artwork and premium presentations that felt distinct from standard releases. Crobat VMAX appears as a full-art card showcasing the Pokémon in dynamic flight. The card's striking illustration and the appeal of this particular evolution line—beloved across generations—make it a sought-after pull from the set. Full-art variants remain popular with players and collectors who appreciate the extended artwork that breaks free from traditional card borders.
