Lost Origin represents a pivotal moment in modern Pokémon TCG history, arriving in September 2022 as the set that introduced the Giratina VSTAR mechanic and cemented the era of powerful V-series gameplay. The set captured collector interest through its thematic focus on the Distortion world, blending competitive playability with striking visual design that appealed to both players and art enthusiasts during an exceptionally active period for the hobby. Parasect appears as a Trainer Gallery card, a special subset that pairs classic Pokémon with their trainers in illustrated scenes rather than traditional battle artwork. These cards became highly sought after for their artistic presentation and relative scarcity, making them standout pieces for collectors building complete set collections or focusing specifically on Trainer Gallery variants.
