Ghosts From the Past: The 2nd Haunting arrived in 2022 as a premium nostalgic release that brought sought-after cards back to collectors through high-end production values and limited distribution. The set exemplified Yu-Gi-Oh!'s strategy of reissuing classic cards in special formats, appealing to veteran players and newcomers alike who valued the curated selection and alternate artwork treatments. Plunder Patrollship Lys represents the Plunder Patroll archetype, a swashbuckling pirate-themed strategy that combines seafaring aesthetics with competitive mechanics. The Synchro Monster's detailed artwork captures the chaotic energy of its maritime theme, making it a rewarding pull for both theme deck builders and collectors drawn to the vivid character design of the franchise's water-based dueling concepts.
