Pokemon Generations arrived in 2016 as a special retrospective set celebrating the franchise's legacy. Released alongside Pokemon's 20th anniversary, it revived the original Base Set artwork and design philosophy while incorporating modern production standards. The set became instantly nostalgic for veteran collectors while introducing younger fans to classic imagery, making it a bridge between Pokemon's past and present. Raichu represents one of the iconic evolution lines from the earliest days of the TCG. This holographic version captures the electric mouse's powerful second form with artwork that honors the character's debut design. Collectors appreciate Generations' faithful recreation of vintage aesthetics, making cards like this appealing to those seeking classic Pokemon presented through a contemporary lens.
