Shining Legends arrived in late 2017 as a special set celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Released between the main XY and Sun & Moon eras, it offered collectors a curated selection of iconic Pokémon with premium reverse holo treatment and modern cardstock. The set became memorable for its accessibility and quality, making it a natural entry point for collectors returning to the hobby or exploring its heritage. Zekrom appears here as a powerful Electric-type legendary, rendered in striking artwork that captures the dragon's commanding presence. The reverse holo treatment adds visual depth to the card's design, and as a popular legendary from the Black & White generation, this version remains sought after by both competitive players and collectors building iconic Pokémon collections.
