Darkness Ablaze released in 2020 as a pivotal set during Pokémon TCG's modern renaissance. Following years of declining interest, the trading card game experienced explosive growth driven by nostalgia, celebrity endorsements, and limited supply. This set became emblematic of the era's demand surge, with secret rares commanding significant collector attention and sealed products becoming increasingly difficult to find at retail. Big Parasol is a Trainer card from Darkness Ablaze's secret rare full art lineup, featuring distinctive illustrative artwork that showcases the creative direction of the set. Collectors are drawn to these special illustration rares for their aesthetic appeal and relative scarcity compared to standard printings, making them popular targets for serious Pokémon card enthusiasts building comprehensive collections.
