Shining Fates arrived in early 2021 as a special subset celebrating Pokemon's 25th anniversary, bringing premium production and eye-catching alternate art treatments to the TCG. The set energized collectors during a period of renewed interest in the hobby, offering beautifully rendered full-art cards that emphasized illustration over traditional layouts. Shining Fates became one of the era's most sought-after releases, balancing accessibility with genuine collector appeal. Skyla appears here as a full-art Supporter card, rendered with the elegance and detail that defined the subset. Her connection to the Unova region and the Gym Leader lineage made her a natural choice for premium treatment. Collectors value this card for both its artistic presentation and Skyla's importance in the Pokemon games and trading card lore.
