Paradox Rift arrived in late 2023 as one of Pokémon's most experimental sets, introducing Paradox Pokémon—alternate-timeline versions of classic creatures with striking sci-fi aesthetics. The set pushed creative boundaries with its futuristic design language and became a standout moment in the modern TCG era, capturing collectors' attention through its bold visual departures from traditional Pokémon art direction. Roark appears here as an Ultra Rare trainer card, featuring the beloved Sinnoh Gym Leader. Collectors appreciate trainer cards that showcase memorable characters with compelling artwork, and this card delivers both. Roark's appearance in Paradox Rift represents the set's commitment to diverse character representation alongside its mechanical innovations.
