Scarlet & Violet Black Star Promos represent the modern era of Pokemon's premium promotional offerings, distributed alongside special products and products during the ninth generation's launch. These promos bridge the gap between standard releases and ultra-premium products, making them accessible entry points for collectors seeking high-quality, limited-print cards. The Scarlet & Violet era revitalized collector interest through fresh mechanics and the debut of new Pokémon species like Smoliv. Smoliv, the grass-type olive Pokémon, appears here in its promotional holographic form—a sought-after representation of a Generation IX favorite. The card captures the character's charming, round design and appeals to collectors building complete Scarlet & Violet collections and those drawn to the game's early roster. As a promo printing, it offers collectors an alternative to standard set versions.
