Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Black Star Promos represent the modern era of promotional cards distributed through special products and premium collections. Released in 2023 alongside the generation nine games, these promos bridged the transition into Pokémon's current Standard format. Black Star Promos have become central to contemporary collecting, offering players and enthusiasts accessible entry points to newer card art and mechanics without chasing base set pulls. Pawmi, the electric mouse Pokémon introduced in generation nine, appears here in its holo promotional form. The card captures the character's youthful energy and charm, appealing to both competitive players building Scarlet & Violet decks and collectors drawn to the generation's fresh visual aesthetic. Promotional versions of newly-introduced Pokémon hold particular appeal for those seeking complete modern collections.
