Garbage Pail Kids experienced a major resurgence in the early 2020s as nostalgia-driven collectors rediscovered the brand's irreverent humor and distinctive artwork. The Go On Vacation series tapped into pandemic-era escapism, offering themed variations across colorful parallel sets. Booger Green represents one of several vibrant editions released during this revival period, capturing renewed interest in GPK's satirical take on pop culture and everyday absurdities that had made the brand iconic decades earlier. Slimey Riley exemplifies the series' trademark gross-out aesthetic with characteristically crude subject matter and exaggerated illustration. The card's appeal lies in its unfiltered comedic approach—exactly what draws collectors to Garbage Pail Kids. Fans seek out individual titles like this one for their raw entertainment value and as pieces of contemporary pop culture commentary wrapped in deliberate bad taste.
