Garbage Pail Kids experienced a major revival in the 2020s as nostalgia-driven collectors embraced the brand's irreverent humor and artistic evolution. The Book Worms series tapped into literary themes, reimagining classic stories and characters with GPK's signature grotesque twist. This 2022 release represented the franchise's continued ability to blend childhood memories with contemporary collecting culture, appealing to both vintage enthusiasts and new generations discovering the cards. Frostbite Buck presents a character caught between nature and decay, showcasing the series' dark whimsy through clever visual wordplay. The artwork captures the detailed, sometimes disturbing charm that defines the brand, making it a sought-after example of modern GPK card design and the creative direction the 2022 sets pursued.
