Roaring Skies arrived in 2015 as a defining set for the XY era, introducing Full Art cards that became instantly iconic. The set's emphasis on spectacular illustration and premium card designs marked a shift in how Pokemon TCG approached collectibility, moving beyond playability alone. This release established a template that would influence Pokemon card collecting for years to come. Rayquaza EX as a Full Art exemplifies why this set resonates with collectors. The legendary dragon stretches across the entire card face in dynamic illustration, commanding attention with its signature emerald scales and imposing presence. Rayquaza's cultural prominence combined with the artistic ambition of the Full Art treatment makes this card a natural centerpiece for any serious collection.
