Legendary Decks II was part of Yu-Gi-Oh!'s early 2016 lineup, delivering nostalgic reprints and new cards aimed at both longtime players and returning collectors. The set capitalized on the trading card game's resurgence by bundling iconic decks with fresh support cards, making it an accessible entry point for the community during a period of renewed interest in the TCG. Gearfried the Iron Knight stands as a classic Fusion Monster from the archetype, representing the mechanical warrior aesthetic that defined much of Yu-Gi-Oh!'s early card design. Collectors appreciate this card for its enduring presence across multiple sets and its role in equipment-focused strategies, making it a recognizable piece of the game's mechanical identity.
