Shining Legends arrived in 2017 as a special set celebrating Pokemon's legacy of shining and secret rare cards. Released during the height of the modern collecting renaissance, it brought premium holos and alternate art treatments that reconnected collectors with the franchise's most nostalgic elements. The set became an instant classic for its elegant design philosophy and the reintroduction of the beloved "shining" mechanic that originated in the beloved Neo-era sets of the late 1990s. Zekrom stands as one of the set's signature cards, featuring the legendary electric dragon in striking metallic glory. Collectors are drawn to this card for its commanding artwork and the technical beauty of the full holo treatment, which captures Zekrom's powerful presence. As a legendary Pokemon and a centerpiece of the set's design language, it remains a cornerstone card for both set builders and those seeking the era's most iconic holographic pulls.
