Sun & Moon launched in February 2017 as the first set of Generation VII, introducing Alola region mechanics and redesigned Pokémon forms that captivated collectors and players alike. The set marked a visual shift in card design and brought fresh energy to the Pokémon TCG during a resurgent collecting era. Its widespread popularity and innovative mechanics established it as a foundational set for modern era collectors. Gumshoos GX represents the Alolan evolution line, capturing the detective-like appeal of this regional variant. The card's artwork and GX attack mechanics made it a notable pull for players building competitive Alola-focused decks. Collectors appreciate this card as a snapshot of the generation's debut, and the GX designation itself carries the prestige of that era's most sought-after mechanics.
