Shiny Treasure ex arrived in 2023 as one of the premium Japanese sets of the era, showcasing the franchise's beloved characters in their shiny alternate colorways. This period marked a continued renaissance for Japanese Pokemon collecting, where reverse holo treatments created sought-after variants that appealed equally to players and collectors building complete sets. Slowpoke's presence here captures this lovable water-psychic type in its shiny form, a visual transformation that draws collector interest. The reverse holo treatment adds an extra layer of appeal, making this version distinct from its standard counterpart and a natural target for enthusiasts completing their Shiny Treasure collections.
