The Expedition Base Set marked Pokemon's return to print in 2002 after a hiatus, revitalizing the Trading Card Game during a period of renewed collector interest. Released by Wizards of the Coast before the transition to The Pokemon Company International, Expedition captured the adventure spirit of the original games with fresh artwork and became a cornerstone set for modern vintage collectors rebuilding collections from childhood. Copycat is a Trainer card featuring one of Generation One's most memorable characters—the determined young trainer from Cerulean City. The card's artwork captures her signature confident demeanor, making it a recognizable piece from the set. Collectors value Copycat as both a functional competitive card and a nostalgic connection to Pokemon's early anime era.
