Neo Genesis marked Pokemon's triumphant return to the trading card game in 2000, revitalizing the hobby after the original Base Set craze had cooled. This set introduced the beloved second-generation Pokemon from Gold and Silver, bridging the gap between the Kanto and Johto regions. Neo Genesis became a cornerstone set for collectors reconnecting with the game and new players discovering Pokemon cards, cementing its place in TCG history. Totodile, the scrappy Water-type starter from Johto, appears here as a Stage 0 Pokemon with characteristic charm. Collectors appreciate this card for its approachable artwork and role in the evolutionary line leading to the powerful Feraligatr, making it a natural foundation piece for themed collections and deck builders alike.
