Shining Fates emerged in early 2021 as a landmark set for the Pokémon TCG during the hobby's explosive growth period. This special release focused on shiny Pokémon variants and introduced the Shiny Vault subset, a curated collection of full-art and alternate-art cards that became instantly sought-after. The set captured collectors' attention through premium artwork and the allure of chase cards, helping sustain momentum as demand for Pokémon products reached unprecedented levels. Grimmsnarl V appears as a full-art Shiny Vault card, showcasing the imposing Fairy-type in vibrant alternate coloring. The dramatic illustration and the card's rarity within an already competitive set make it a memorable pull for collectors. Shiny Vault full-arts remain popular among those building comprehensive collections or appreciating the artistic presentation that defines this era of the TCG.
