The Terastal Fest ex set represents a pivotal moment in Japanese Pokémon TCG, celebrating the mechanics introduced in Scarlet and Violet games. Released in 2024, this set brought the Terastal mechanic to the trading card game, allowing Pokémon to shift types strategically. It became a cornerstone set for competitive players and collectors alike, marking the continued evolution of the modern era's gameplay and visual identity. Okidogi, one of the Poison-type Pokémon from the Scarlet and Violet generation, appears in its holo form here—a striking representation of this unique creature. Collectors seek cards of newer-generation Pokémon like Okidogi for their fresh artwork and cultural significance as part of the current collecting landscape, especially in the popular Japanese market where these cards were first distributed.
