The unlicensed Sanrio card market emerged as a notable phenomenon in the early 2020s, reflecting collector interest in character-driven trading cards outside traditional sports and gaming franchises. These independent productions captured the appeal of beloved Sanrio characters in card form, carving out a dedicated niche among fans who sought collectible representations of their favorite properties in a trading card format. Kuromi, the mischievous horned character known for her bold personality, appears here in artwork that captures her distinctive attitude and charm. Collectors are drawn to Kuromi cards for her popularity within the Sanrio universe and the creative interpretations artists bring to the character across different card releases.
