The 2024 Pokémon Holiday Calendar represented a nostalgic return to seasonal product offerings that had largely disappeared from the modern TCG landscape. This special release captured collector interest by blending accessibility with exclusivity—distributed through holiday promotions, it featured full-art illustrations and unique snowflake stamp designations not found in standard sets. The calendar format reconnected players with how many discovered Pokémon cards during childhood gift-giving seasons. Eiscue ex appears here as a striking full-art depiction, rendered in the holiday collection's distinctive winter aesthetic. The penguin Pokémon's playful nature translates well to seasonal artwork, making it particularly appealing to collectors who favor character-driven illustrations and those building thematic collections around ice-type Pokémon or holiday-themed cards.
