Shiny Treasure ex arrived in 2023 as a landmark set in Pokemon's Japanese release calendar, celebrating the full-art potential of the modern era. This period marked a turning point where Japanese releases began receiving the premium treatments previously reserved for English markets, elevating the hobby's international standing and creating significant collector demand. Lechonk, the adorable pig Pokemon introduced in Generation IX, became an immediate fan favorite upon its debut. Its inclusion as a Shiny Rare in this set captures the character's charm through full-art illustration, making it a sought-after piece for collectors building complete Shiny Treasure ex sets and those dedicated to this generation's roster.
