Legendary Treasures marked the final main expansion of Generation V, releasing in late 2013 as the Pokemon TCG transitioned toward new mechanics and artwork styles. This set is remembered as a bridge between eras, featuring reprints of iconic cards alongside fresh takes on beloved Pokemon. Collectors regard it as a notable milestone in the modern era before the hobby experienced its explosive growth in subsequent years. Gothorita represents the middle evolution of a Ghost-type line that gained prominence during this generation. The card captures the Pokemon's distinctive design with appealing artwork that appeals to both casual players and set collectors completing their Legendary Treasures collections. Psychic-type Pokemon from this period remain popular among those building nostalgic decks from the BW-era format.
