# Card Notes: Making Friends Impel's 1991 An American Tail: Fievel Goes West set captured the charm of the beloved animated sequel during the golden age of non-sports trading cards. Released when collectible card sets ranged far beyond sports, this release represented the hobby's expansion into family entertainment and film properties. The set preserved memorable moments from the movie in illustrated form, offering fans of the film a tangible connection to its characters and story during an era when such tie-in products were relatively scarce.
