Pacific Trading Company's 1996 release represented a bold entry into the premium card market during football's explosive growth period. Known for striking photography and innovative design approaches, Pacific carved out space alongside established competitors by emphasizing player imagery and contemporary aesthetics that appealed to collectors seeking alternatives to traditional cardstock designs. This dual-subject card pairs two of the era's most dynamic quarterbacks at the height of their competitive rivalry. Young and Favre defined 1990s football excellence, making their appearance together particularly meaningful for collectors of that golden decade. The pairing captures a moment when both players were shaping the sport's landscape.
