Pinnacle Sportflics brought interactive technology to the card market in the early 1990s, employing special lenticular printing that created motion effects when tilted. The Going, Going, Gone subset focused on power hitters, capturing the excitement of home run baseball during an era when the sport was reclaiming fan enthusiasm after the strike-shortened 1994 season. Mike Piazza's rookie card from this set remains significant as one of his earliest cardboard appearances. Collectors are drawn to this piece for its connection to the young slugger's emergence as one of baseball's most electrifying offensive forces, combined with Pinnacle's innovative visual presentation that made these cards distinctive on the shelf.
