Legendary Decks II arrived during Yu-Gi-Oh!'s continued resurgence in the trading card market. Released in 2020, this collection set captured the nostalgia of classic decks while introducing reprints of iconic cards to new and returning players. The set represented the franchise's enduring appeal and Konami's strategy of making pivotal cards accessible through curated products rather than booster packs alone. Alexandrite Dragon stands out as a visually striking synchro monster, embodying the fusion of magic and machinery central to Yu-Gi-Oh!'s design philosophy. Collectors pursue this card for its compelling artwork and its relevance within competitive and casual deck-building strategies, making it a sought-after inclusion in Dragon-focused collections.
