The 25th Anniversary SpongeBob SquarePants Fun Time Collection represents Kayou's expansion into beloved Western properties during the trading card renaissance of the early 2020s. This 2024 release celebrates two and a half decades of the iconic Nickelodeon series, bringing officially licensed character cards to collectors who grew up with the show and newcomers discovering its enduring appeal. Mr. Krabs, the miserly yet oddly endearing owner of the Krusty Krab, appears here as an SSR—the set's premium rarity tier. Collectors appreciate cards of this character for his instantly recognizable charm and central role in the SpongeBob universe, making him a natural cornerstone for enthusiasts building their sets.
