This card originates from the Unlicensed Card Database Pokemon Attacks 2 Special Edition, a 2024 release that reflects the thriving independent trading card community. Unlicensed sets occupy a unique space in the hobby, created by passionate designers outside traditional licensing frameworks. These releases appeal to collectors interested in alternative artwork, experimental card designs, and the creative possibilities that emerge when freed from official constraints. Suicune, one of the legendary beasts from the Johto region, appears here in the gold special edition variant. Collectors are drawn to Suicune cards for the mythical appeal of this ice-type legendary, and special edition treatments like gold foiling add visual distinction to their collections. Variants within independent releases often become sought after by those building comprehensive sets or exploring the diverse artistic interpretations available beyond mainstream products.
