The Full Metal Wall set represents a notable chapter in Japan's GX-era Pokemon TCG releases from the late 2010s. This period marked peak interest in competitive play and collecting, when GX mechanics dominated tournament formats and secondary market activity. Japanese exclusive sets like this one offered regional variants and artwork treatments that created distinct collecting appeal separate from international releases. Blastoise GX captures one of Pokemon's most iconic Water-type evolutions in full-art form, showcasing dynamic artwork that highlights the character's powerful presence. Collectors gravitate toward Blastoise cards across all eras due to the Pokémon's enduring popularity and competitive relevance during this GX format era. Double Rare designations typically indicate premium pull rates, making these versions particularly sought by both players and collectors.
