Panini's 2023 Contenders set arrived during the company's final year producing NFL cards before losing the license, making it a notable swan song for the brand. The Red Game Ticket parallels became instant collector favorites, offering bold color variants that stood out in a crowded market of 2023 rookie releases. Contenders remained a foundational set for building rookie collections during this transitional era. C.J. Stroud's rookie cards captured collector imagination as a highly touted quarterback prospect entering the league. This Game Ticket parallel combines the appeal of a first-year star with Contenders' distinctive ticket-stub design, creating a piece that appeals to both Stroud collectors and those pursuing premium parallel sets from 2023.
