Panini's 2023 Donruss Gridiron Kings marked one of the final releases from the company before losing its NFL license. The set balanced classic Donruss design sensibilities with premium production values, appealing to collectors who valued both tradition and contemporary collecting trends. Gridiron Kings specifically emphasized rookie cards and emerging talent, making it a natural destination for those building collections around players entering their professional careers. Jordan Addison's rookie card from this set captures the wide receiver at an exciting moment in his NFL journey. Collectors pursue this card as a foundational piece for Addison PC builds and as a key rookie from Panini's twilight era of football cards. The card represents both the player's promise and a nostalgic chapter in modern card collecting history.
