Panini Prizm Portals represented the company's final foray into NFL card production before losing the league license. Released in 2023, the set showcased Panini's signature prismatic technology with dimensional parallels that caught light in distinctive ways. Collectors remember Portals as a bridge between traditional design and modern collector preferences, balancing premium materials with accessible pricing across variants. This green Prizm parallel of Hendon Hooker's rookie captures the quarterback during his emergence as a prospect. Prismatic parallels like this green iteration remain popular with collectors seeking the visual appeal of refraction without the scarcity of ultra-low print runs, making them enduring staples in modern football collecting.
