Terastal Fest ex represents a significant moment in Japanese Pokémon TCG releases, showcasing the Terastal mechanic that defines the current generation of gameplay. This 2024 set arrived as collectors deepened their engagement with modern Japanese releases, which have become increasingly prominent in the global hobby. The reverse holo treatment elevates the entire set, making even support cards visually striking and collectible in their own right. Buddy-Buddy Poffin captures a charming moment of Pokémon care and companionship through its artwork. As a Trainer card focused on the bond between trainer and Pokémon, it resonates with collectors who appreciate the series' gentler, more character-driven illustrations alongside the competitive appeal of the set.
