Garbage Pail Kids made a triumphant return in 2022 with Topps, bringing the irreverent humor and distinctive artwork that defined the brand back to collectors who grew up with the original series. The Book Worms set tapped into nostalgia while introducing new creative takes on the parody concept, cementing GPK's place as a enduring part of trading card culture across generations. Sweet Treat Sawyer exemplifies the set's clever wordplay and satirical illustration style. The card plays on literary references with characteristic GPK absurdist humor, making it a standout for fans who appreciate the marriage of pop culture commentary and skilled comic artwork that defines the brand's appeal.
