Shiny Treasure ex arrived in 2023 as a landmark Japanese set celebrating alternate art treatments and premium pull rates. Building on the momentum of the Shiny Star ex era, it represented the peak of accessibility for collector-focused Japanese releases, featuring notably generous rates for special cards and delivering the visual spectacle that defines modern Pokémon TCG collecting. Iron Treads ex appears here as one of the set's many Shiny Super Rares, rendered in full-art alternate treatment. The Paradox Pokémon's imposing mechanical design translates beautifully to premium illustration work, making it a natural target for collectors drawn to the set's standout artwork and the appeal of ex-era competitive staples reimagined through special framing.
