Evolving Skies arrived in 2021 as one of Pokemon's most celebrated modern sets, celebrated for its stunning full-art and alternate-art cards that pushed the visual boundaries of the TCG. The set captured collectors' imaginations during a boom period for the hobby, balancing accessibility with chase cards that felt genuinely special. Its Dragon-type focus and exceptional artwork made it a cornerstone release that collectors still actively pursue today. Pinsir opens the set as card number one, featuring the iconic Bug-type in dynamic artwork that exemplifies Evolving Skies' artistic direction. This early-set slot position combined with the card's prominent subject makes it a natural entry point for set collectors building complete collections. Its clean placement ensures it remains one of the set's most recognizable cards.
