# Card Notes The Funskool unlicensed Pokémon sets represent a fascinating chapter in collecting history, particularly among Indian collectors during the early 2000s. Funskool, a major Indian toy manufacturer, produced these cards without official Pokémon Company licensing, creating a parallel collecting universe distinct from mainstream Western releases. These sets have become increasingly sought after as collectors recognize their cultural significance and scarcity in the global market. Gyarados appears here as card h03, depicting the iconic water-type evolution in Funskool's distinctive artistic style. The card captures the imposing, serpentine nature of this powerful Pokémon. Collectors are drawn to Funskool Gyarados for its rarity and unique presentation, making it a meaningful addition to collections focused on international or alternative Pokémon releases.
