Pokemon Horizons Gem Pack Volume 1 represents the Chinese market's engagement with Pokemon's animated series revival. Released in 2025, this set bridges the transition from Scarlet and Violet era cards into content tied directly to the Horizons anime storyline. The triple rare designation signals premium collectibility within this release, making it notable among regional Chinese offerings during a period of renewed anime-driven card interest. Quaxwell appears in this set as part of the expanded Pokedex representation that characterizes modern Pokemon TCG releases. Collectors seek cards from Horizons packages for their connection to current anime content and the appeal of Chinese-language editions, which carry their own collecting tradition separate from English releases.
