These Japanese sticker cards were distributed through vending machines and offered a unique format that blurred the line between traditional trading cards and adhesive collectibles. The prism technology created eye-catching holographic effects, making them visually striking despite their unconventional purpose. This set captures the height of Pokémon's first major wave of popularity in Japan. Hypno, the pendulum Pokémon, appears here rendered with the shimmering prism treatment that defines the set.
