Disney Lorcana Shimmering Skies arrived in 2024 as the trading card game continued its rapid expansion through the Disney catalog. The set maintained the visual splendor and mechanical depth that had made Lorcana a genuine competitor in the collectible card space, offering players and collectors alike richly illustrated characters from across Disney's vast library. Shimmering Skies solidified the game's position as more than a novelty, appealing to both longtime card enthusiasts and Disney fans discovering the hobby. Kronk, the lovably dim-witted henchman from The Emperor's New Groove, brings warmth and humor to any collection. His Super Rare foil treatment captures the character's endearing personality through dynamic artwork, making him a natural draw for fans of the film and those who appreciate Lorcana's commitment to bringing secondary characters to life with the same care as major players.
