Card Notes
# Card Notes The 1995 Playboy Chromium Cover Cards Edition 1 set represents a unique crossover moment in trading card history, capturing iconic magazine covers through chromium technology. Released during the height of the chromium card craze, this set appealed to collectors beyond traditional sports and entertainment card markets, bringing together pop culture nostalgia with the premium chromium printing process that defined mid-1990s collecting. Card #61 features the April 1980 Playboy cover, preserving an emblematic moment from the magazine's golden era. Collectors seek this card for its historical significance and the striking chromium reproduction of the original cover artwork, making it a distinctive addition to both Playboy-themed collections and chromium card sets from the period.
