The Blockbuster Video Pokémon Snap Smart Card set emerged in 1999 as a unique promotional collaboration between the rental giant and The Pokémon Company, tying into Nintendo 64's popular photography game. These cards remain distinctive artifacts of late-90s Pokémon merchandising, when the franchise experimented with unconventional cardstock formats and retail partnerships that differed markedly from traditional TCG releases. Jigglypuff's appearance captures the character in a charming pose, rendered in the vibrant style associated with Pokémon Snap's gameplay aesthetic. Collectors seek these cards for their nostalgic connection to the game itself and their scarcity compared to mainstream releases, making Jigglypuff a particularly appealing example from this quirky, lesser-known set.
