# Card Notes The Nintendo Pokemon Vending Prism Sticker Card series represents a unique chapter in early Pokemon collecting. Released in 2000, these Japanese sticker cards were distributed through vending machines and offered collectors a different format than traditional trading cards. The holographic prism technology created distinctive visual effects that made these stickers stand out, and they've become increasingly sought after by collectors interested in Pokemon's global merchandise ecosystem beyond standard TCG releases. Tentacool, the tentacled Water-type Pokemon, appears here as a vivid prism sticker. The artwork captures the character's distinctive form with the holographic treatment enhancing its visual appeal. Collectors appreciate these sticker cards for their novelty factor and the technical printing innovations they showcase, making them interesting additions to comprehensive Pokemon collections from the early 2000s.
